Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 18, 2026
Plain-language summary
We collect only the information needed to operate our apps and services. For Loopd, that may include precise location, routes, workout metrics, heart rate, and health or fitness information you choose to authorize. We do not sell personal information, use health or fitness information for advertising, or use precise location for cross-app tracking. This summary is only a convenience; the complete policy below controls.
This Privacy Policy explains how Parker Beaumont Holdings LLC ("Parker Beaumont," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, software, cloud services, and related products (collectively, the "Services"). It includes additional disclosures for Loopd, our running, walking, and cycling route and workout application.
1. Scope and Acceptance
This Policy applies to information processed through the Services and to communications with Parker Beaumont. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, devices, or services that maintain their own privacy policies. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where consent is required by law, we will request it separately.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
Depending on the Service, you may provide:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, username, profile settings, and authentication information.
- Content you create, upload, import, save, or share, including documents, notes, images, files, routes, workout notes, vehicle records, budgets, inventory records, and other app-specific content.
- Communications, feedback, support requests, survey responses, and information you provide when reporting a problem.
- Purchase, subscription, or transaction information. Payment card information may be processed directly by Apple, a payment processor, or another platform provider rather than by Parker Beaumont.
- Permissions and preferences, including settings for location, notifications, health and fitness access, background activity, connected services, and analytics.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
- Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, network type, and limited device or installation identifiers.
- Usage information, such as features used, screens viewed, interactions, timestamps, session duration, and performance events.
- Diagnostic information, such as crash logs, error reports, latency, battery or memory impact, failed requests, and other technical data used to maintain and improve reliability.
- Approximate location inferred from an IP address, where applicable, and precise location only when a feature requires it and you grant permission.
- Cookie or similar website information, where used. We do not use health or fitness data for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
2.3 Information From Connected Services
If you choose to connect another service or platform, we may receive only the information permitted by your settings and the authorization you grant. Connected services may include Apple Health, Apple Weather, Apple Maps, calendars, cloud storage, authentication providers, and other services supported by a particular Parker Beaumont app. You can withdraw permissions through the connected service or device settings, although doing so may limit functionality.
2.4 Advertising
Some Services work with third-party advertising partners that collect information such as device identifiers, approximate location, and advertising interactions to deliver and measure ads. These partners' embedded SDKs process that information under their own privacy practices in addition to this Policy, and our App Store privacy disclosures reflect data collected by those embedded third-party SDKs, not only information Parker Beaumont directly reviews. Regardless of any advertising integration, we do not supply HealthKit data, heart-rate data, workout routes, or precise location to advertisers, and we do not use that information for targeted advertising.
3. Loopd Running, Route, Location, and Fitness Information
This section applies specifically to Loopd. Loopd may process the following information when you use relevant features:
- Precise and approximate location, including live GPS coordinates, route geometry, start and finish locations, movement, heading, and location accuracy.
- Generated, selected, edited, saved, and completed routes, including waypoints, distance, route type, overlap, elevation, and navigation progress.
- Workout information, including activity type, date, distance, elapsed and moving time, pace, speed, splits, laps, cadence, elevation, pauses, estimated calories, and related performance data.
- Heart-rate information, including samples, average and maximum values, heart-rate ranges, zones, trends, and relationships between pace and heart rate.
- Authorized health and fitness information available through HealthKit, such as workouts, heart rate, active energy, distance, walking or running data, and other specific data types for which Loopd requests permission.
- Route- and time-related weather information, such as temperature, precipitation, wind, humidity, visibility, severe-weather conditions, and forecasts associated with a planned or completed activity.
- Sensor and quality information used to evaluate GPS accuracy, heart-rate completeness, pauses, elevation, and confidence in derived workout analytics.
3.1 How Loopd Uses This Information
Loopd may use this information to:
- Generate, preview, modify, save, and navigate running, walking, or cycling routes.
- Record an active workout, maintain navigation while the app is in the background where permitted, and show workout progress.
- Calculate distance, pace, time, speed, elevation, splits, laps, estimated completion time, and other workout metrics.
- Provide saved-run history and performance analysis, including modal pace, sustainable pace, pace consistency, heart-rate-zone summaries, cardiac drift, and comparisons with similar runs.
- Estimate where a runner may be on a route at a future time and provide route-aware weather information or warnings.
- Read from or write authorized workout information to the Health app through HealthKit, when the user enables the applicable feature.
- Detect inaccurate sensor readings, GPS jumps, pauses, route-generation failures, and other issues affecting data quality.
- Improve route generation, reliability, accessibility, and user experience using aggregated, de-identified, or minimally necessary diagnostic information.
3.2 Location and Background Activity
Loopd uses precise location only for features that require it, such as route generation, active navigation, and workout recording. If you enable background location, Loopd may continue receiving location while an active workout is underway or while another clearly disclosed location feature is operating. Loopd does not use precise location for advertising or cross-app tracking. You may disable location access in device settings, but route generation, navigation, safety context, and workout recording may become unavailable or less accurate.
3.3 HealthKit and Health or Fitness Data
Health and fitness information is sensitive. Loopd requests access only to specific HealthKit data types needed for features you choose to use. HealthKit permission is granular, and you may grant or deny access to each requested type. Loopd may not be able to determine whether read access was denied; unavailable data may simply appear absent.
We do not sell HealthKit-derived data or other health and fitness information. We do not use it for advertising, marketing profiles, cross-app tracking, credit, employment, insurance eligibility, or unrelated data mining. We do not disclose it to data brokers. We do not store HealthKit-derived personal health information in an iCloud container controlled by Parker Beaumont.
Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, Loopd processes health and fitness information on the device where practical. If a future feature transmits such information to Parker Beaumont systems or a service provider, the app and this Policy will disclose that processing, limit it to the requested feature, and apply appropriate safeguards before the feature is released.
Deleting information from Loopd does not necessarily delete information previously written to the Apple Health app. Users can review and delete Health information through Apple's Health app and system privacy controls.
3.4 Fitness Analytics Are Not Medical Records
Loopd may generate estimates and observations based on workout and sensor data. These may be incomplete or inaccurate because of device placement, sensor limitations, terrain, weather, GPS quality, pauses, user settings, and other factors. Loopd does not treat a recorded heart rate, pace, zone, or training insight as a diagnosis, medical recommendation, or verified physiological limit. Users should not interpret unusually high readings as recommended targets.
3.5 Loopd Diagnostics and Analytics
Loopd's analytics and diagnostic events are designed not to include precise GPS coordinates, complete route geometry, HealthKit data, heart-rate samples, authentication credentials, or payment information. Diagnostic information may include app version, device and operating-system information, feature usage, route-generation outcomes, timing, failure categories, crash information, and performance information.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, personalize, and support the Services.
- Authenticate users, manage accounts, synchronize authorized information, and preserve user settings.
- Process user requests, generate requested outputs, and support app-specific functionality.
- Monitor performance, diagnose failures, prevent data loss, improve reliability, and develop new features.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries, complaints, or legal requests.
- Protect users, Parker Beaumont, and others from fraud, abuse, security threats, unauthorized access, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Send service communications, security notices, and product messages. Marketing communications will be sent only where permitted, and users may opt out.
5. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
Some Parker Beaumont Services may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to provide requested features, organize content, generate summaries, analyze data, or assist with troubleshooting. When a feature uses an external AI provider or Parker Beaumont backend, only the information reasonably necessary to provide that request is transmitted. We do not use HealthKit-derived information for general-purpose advertising or unrelated AI training.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate. Users should review important results before relying on them. Where practical, the Services distinguish user-provided information, imported information, calculated metrics, and AI-generated observations.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information only as described below:
6.1 Service Providers
We may use vendors that host infrastructure, process authentication, deliver notifications, provide maps or weather, process payments, monitor crashes, or perform other services on our behalf. They may access information only as necessary to perform contracted services and are contractually or otherwise required to process it only for the applicable service and protect it appropriately.
6.2 User-Directed Sharing
We may share information when you direct us to do so, such as exporting a workout, sharing a route, writing an authorized workout to HealthKit, sending a document, or connecting another service.
6.3 Legal, Safety, and Security
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; protect rights, safety, and property; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; or respond to an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury.
6.4 Business Transactions
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice where required.
6.5 Aggregated or De-identified Information
We may use and disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably identify an individual. We will not attempt to re-identify such information except to test whether de-identification protections are effective or as permitted by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining user-requested records, meeting legal or accounting obligations, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and Service.
Workout and route information may remain on a user's device until the user deletes it, removes the app, or uses an available deletion control. Information synchronized to a Parker Beaumont account or backend may remain until deleted by the user or account administrator, subject to backup cycles, legal holds, fraud prevention, and other legitimate retention requirements. Derived analytics may be recalculated from original workout records; deletion of a workout should remove associated derived analytics from active systems where reasonably possible.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, secure credential handling, logging, and data-minimization practices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting device passcodes, account credentials, and access to connected services.
9. Your Choices and Rights
9.1 Device and App Controls
- Change location, background activity, notification, motion, and HealthKit permissions through device settings.
- Disconnect supported third-party services.
- Delete individual workouts, routes, content, or other records where deletion controls are available.
- Disable optional analytics where the Service provides that choice.
- Uninstall an application to stop future app-level collection, subject to information already retained on a backend or required by law.
9.2 Account Deletion
If a Parker Beaumont Service allows users to create an account, the Service will provide a way to initiate account deletion from within the application. Deletion removes the account and associated information that Parker Beaumont is not legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.
9.3 Privacy Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or an explanation of certain processing, and to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right to withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
To submit a privacy request, use the contact method published on parkerbeaumontholdings.com and identify the Service involved. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary health information in an initial request.
10. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable law. Parker Beaumont does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by certain state privacy laws. We do not knowingly use sensitive personal information, including precise location or health information, to infer characteristics for advertising purposes.
If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required notices or opt-out mechanisms before the change applies.
11. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without legally valid parental consent. Some Services may have a higher minimum age depending on their features, platform requirements, or local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. International Use
Parker Beaumont is based in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where Parker Beaumont or its providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Third-Party Services and Platform Providers
The Services may depend on or link to third-party platforms such as Apple, mapping providers, weather providers, payment processors, authentication services, or websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Parker Beaumont does not control how a third party handles information outside Parker Beaumont's Services.
Apple Health, HealthKit, Apple Maps, WeatherKit, TestFlight, the App Store, and other Apple services are provided by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. Your device and Apple account settings control many related permissions and data flows.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, technology, legal obligations, or business practices. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use sensitive information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required before the change takes effect.
15. Contact Us
Email: [email protected]
Website: https://parkerbeaumontholdings.com
Please identify the applicable Parker Beaumont Service, such as Loopd, and provide enough information for us to understand and respond to the request.
16. SMS/MMS and App Feedback
Parker Beaumont operates a text-based feedback line that lets users voluntarily text our published feedback number to report bugs, request features, share usability feedback, and send screenshots or other diagnostic evidence about our apps. This section describes how we handle information sent through that service, in addition to the practices described elsewhere in this Policy.
16.1 Information We Collect
- The phone number you text from.
- The content of your messages, including any images or other attachments you send.
- The date and time of each message.
- The app your feedback concerns, and any device or app diagnostic information you choose to include.
- If you are already saved as a contact in an authorized Parker Beaumont Google Contacts account, we may associate your message with the name, email, or organization already on file for that number.
16.2 How We Use This Information
We use this information to respond to your feedback, diagnose the issue you reported, group duplicate or related reports, prioritize issues, improve our products, and maintain support and compliance records. We may use automated tools, including AI-based systems, to summarize, classify, and compare feedback messages so that reports can be routed and prioritized more effectively. Automated summaries and classifications may be inaccurate and are reviewed by our team as needed.
16.3 Storage and Internal Access
Feedback records, including message content and any attached images, may be stored in cloud-based systems and summarized in internal tools with access restricted to our team. Phone numbers are not included in general issue-tracking materials used for day-to-day product work.
16.4 No Sale or Marketing Use of Mobile Information
Mobile information, phone numbers, SMS consent, and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers such as Twilio, Google Cloud, Google Workspace, and approved AI providers may process this information only as necessary to operate the feedback service, consistent with Section 6 of this Policy.
16.5 Retention and Deletion
We retain feedback messages and related information only as long as reasonably necessary to address the report, maintain support records, and meet the retention practices described in Section 7 of this Policy. You may request access to or deletion of your feedback records using the contact information in Section 15. Opting out of future messages (see Section 16.6) is separate from requesting deletion of information already collected.
16.6 Opting Out of Feedback Messages
Reply STOP to the feedback number at any time to stop receiving messages from that service, or HELP for assistance. Opting out does not delete previously submitted feedback; use the contact information in Section 15 to request deletion of that information.
17. Loopd Launch Commitments
For clarity, the following commitments apply to Loopd unless this Policy is updated before a feature changes:
- Loopd must request permission before accessing precise location, background location, motion, or HealthKit information.
- Loopd must limit HealthKit access to data types needed for user-facing fitness features.
- Loopd must not sell health, fitness, route, or precise-location information.
